Maf is GONE! Its in my tool box. We are going strictly a speed density tune. Its been a bitch with this fairly large cam. But now that its close...idle is good (minus the FAST TB hanging open occasionaly).

good god Al! incredible with the cutouts open on the street. the best ride i have ever had on the street! gotta admit it is one of the most "aggressive" street car i have ever been in. 7600 rpms was outfugginstanding! honestly felt like a H/C 150 nitrous shot car - but you were all motor. also incredible that the motor felt so stable at high rpm. more so than at 4500 rpms it seemed. the guy that setup your valvetrane must be some kinda expert

and sorry for the mess on the seats. they will clean right up bro!

Hahaha...thanks John. I was a little shocked too. That was the first time I romped on it with cutouts open after the tune. Cant wait to run at the track.

well...removing the MAF and going speed density does a few things. It will actually help the car idle better. The MAF will be all over tha place at idle rpms with a large cam. Apparently reversion through the MAF cause this. Wether its true or not I dont know for sure. Also...just physically removing the MAF is worth a bit of power. Unless maybe you invested in a large after market MAF (larger than 85mm)

So far I like the SD setup. We have a little more tweaking to do. But I have to get this damn FAST 90mmTB under control first. Its all over the place. Hanging up in different spots. Im gonna polish everything when the intake comes off for porting.

the EGT dataloger will be used mostely for the direct port tuning to watch cylinder to cylinder differences. So if you not going direct port nitrous...skip that.
