Car definetly needs gears, has some slight cam surge, nothing major but at parking lot speeds, it bucks like a bronco with the clutch out. LOL 4.10s will work nicely. Car is really alive up top, made a few passes tonight, whats weird is that I can ease into it in 1st and get WOT, then when I shift to 2nd, it blows the tires off to the point to where I have to back out of it. I hit it in 2nd once from about 3k, it pulls steadily but nothing extraordinary or even impressive really, then at about 4k it has a nice little surge, then at 5k it just starts spinning the tires! Its got a mean hit about 4700 rpms. Its pretty high strung but it peaks at 6200 and holds it to the limiter at 6600. Definetly gonna have to change the muffler, the borla muffler is WAAAYYY too raspy and anything near half throttle, about 2200 rpms. Sounds like a freakin dog barkin. All in all, its pretty cool. Has a little idle problem after shutting it off, takes about a minute for it to find an idle, after that its fine, it does this hot or cold. Also got major ground clearance issues, I knew it would be tight but....something is gonna have to change, it scrapes on literally EVERYTHING. Not the headers, the y pipe and cat back. Think its hanging down for some reason. Gonna jack with it tomorrow. Later fellas

Well, I think I fixed the ground clearance problems today. Took it to a muffler shop and the owner re-did the exhaust install. Built a new left side of the Y-pipe and basically reconstructed the entire fit of the exhaust system. Nows its up nice and tight to the body floor and has not scraped yet. Another $150 down the tubes but...its worth it. Now I got to find a muffler that sounds good and I am done for a while.

Yeah and free mods.

Prolly about to get a ported TB from BO, smooth bellow and track down a used ASP pulley. Shoot for 415hp with 24 degrees of timing. Also gotta do something about this exhaust rasp.

I'm glad to see the great results. I remember the good 'ol days when 400 RWHP was a major feat with EVERY bolt-on in place! Now people are doing it with quite a few stock parts in place. One of the pluses of the MS3 camshaft is the fact that it will work very well both naturally-aspirated and on nitrous. Your power only has up to go as you finish the other bolt-ons!
