Default MTI G1, Stage IIe, + N2O on my 2004 Z06 #'s

Hi folks,

I thought you would like to see my results...

2004 Z06 less than 4000 miles
Halltech TRAP CAI
1 3/4 Kooks with CATS
Underdrive pulley
MTI G1 cam
MTI Stage IIe Z06 heads
HP Tuners
NX wet kit
Stock Ti mufflers

After tuning NA 430.2 RWHP 404RWTQ at 12.9AFR
With 150 jets 580 RWHP 589RWTQ lean.. changed to...
with 100 jets 557 RWHP 563RWTQ still lean

I have now installed the 75 jets. I guess I've found the limit of the stock fuel system.

All numbers are SAE corrected on my Dynapack. We suspect all car numbers are low compared to a DynoJet.

Next up... LSX 90mm + NW 90TB I will probably sell my NX kit. Anyone want to trade for complete kit with refill station?

Andy

Those numbers look great. It sure likes the bottle, but with the added 90/90 power, you won't need it. Good luck!!

I think you're right. I plan on getting the 90/90 and redynoing (is that a word?) ASAP.

Thanks!

You may just be at the limit of the injectors. Your stock fuel system pump can flow enough for 600rwhp. I would just go with bigger injectors. You will get the added fuel that you need. If you are at 100% D/C now N/A or close to it the 90/90 setup will just make things worse. Go with a 36 or 42lbs injector and you should have plenty of fuel to be bottle feed.

Stock fuel sucks. I have 30lb injectors, T-rex inline fuel pump and a Intank Walb and still have alittle drop at the first hit. I think my stock fuel rails can`t catch the first hit. I plan on new rails and bigger injectors next. But the 150 shot is sweet. Great numbers!!

BTW I loved the 90/90 setup on mine. Made a good differance.

did you try different fuel jets? I was told to run 62/35 for a 150 shot (NX) and that was lean, I had the fuel jet for a 175 shot (41) and used it and I was too rich. I think a 38 jet would be about right. food for thought.

nice numbers though!

Thanks. I'm pretty happy so far, but I would *really* like to have 450rwhp.

I have ordered the 90/90 combo , so I'll report back after dyno.
