Default Just got back from dyno tuning @ CAM

Made 347rwhp/362tq with the mods in my sig , on the final dyno run . I know , I know , Im slowwwwwwwwwwwww

Jeff did say that I would probably gain 40 - 50 rwhp when I change out the stock catback !

I must have gotten one of them pigs that ppl talk about

I have a paper printout of the dyno sheet , and should be recieving the pics in Email shortly . WHen I do I will post it up .

Nope , just Mac midlengths , ORY and a stock catback . I believe Jeff when he said that I should gain a TON with a catback .The dyno graph shows where the HP hits a wall and goes straight . He says thats the stock catback holding me back . I had no idea that the stock catback was so restrictive .

the stock catback is restrictive, but not 40 - 50rwhp restrictive. your missing a good intake setup. and whats the story on the heads?

Stage 1 LS1 heads meaning some light bowl work , competition valve job , and cleaning up of casting flash ( I was told this was done , but looking in the ports , it looked like only some bowl work was done) . I also have done the !FRA mod and have a SLP lid . LS1 intake though . I am going to remedy these two items in the immediate future . Maybe he means LS6 intake and catback . I would think both of them together would be worth 50 on a H/C car, what do you think ?

If you add a ported throttle body with the intake and cat back you will be closer to the 50 hp gain you are looking for. good luck

So does my low dyno reading seem normal with a stock catback and LS1 intake ?

Got a guy in my car club that says to use a dynomax ultraflow and 3 inch I pipe and over the axle pipe . What do you guys think ? Good muffler choice ? It sounds like a str8 thru bullet type muffler , which is definitely better than what I got and its pretty cheap .
