Default Dyno Results for my 2000 SS

well guys, here are the dyno results from after i got off work yesterday. I work at the place listed and the boss let me bring in the car and mess around on the dyno. and heres how it came out on a decently humid day.

my 2000 SS SLP M6 with just a lid and thermo did 310hp/317tq

So yeah good numbers or different dyno.

it was on a pretty warm day (85 degrees) with some pretty good humidity, so id like to dyno it at night when its about 60 and the building is cooler. (i work at the place so i got the hook up, lol). you guys think it would make a dif?

cooler air=more hp so id imagine ud dyno a lil higher

a friend of mine has a 02 ss with the same mods and made an unbelivable 342 hp 350 trq the only extra he had was a random tech trq arm (not sure if that would help on his dyno #'s though) I think he just got a freak, by the way great #'s for a stock ride

Nice numbers. Keep in mind they are in Standard correction. Take maybe 8 hp/tq off for SAE numbers depending on what the computer does for corrections.

Ex. my car NA with Slowmaster, Lid and K&N did 309/321 SAE. STD correction brought the numbers up to 317/330.

So actually I bet on at the same place our cars would dyno within a few HP of each other.

Yes, if you are not using SAE #'s, it can be tough to compare. Around my area, the CF is usually about .97 or .96, meaning that the SAE #'s are 10-15 hp less than actual.

Instead of dynoing at night, get the numbers converted to SAE. That wil 'factor out' most weather issues.
