Damn that is plenty of HP through 4:10's and I bet the curve looks good and it's not just a peak HP set-up either.
Nice to finally see the number. What were the numbers on your old Patriot H/C & then the prior AFR H/C ?

Best of luck on not busting your car bro.

That's real nice through the cats with 4.10's. Congrats.

i sent the graph.
old combo was afr 205's unmilled, fm11, aluminum flywheel and 3.90's=435rwhp

new combo- afr's with tea 2.5 program milled .024, .045cometics, .037 quench, fm14, billet flywheel and 4.10's-other variables the same=441rwhp
definatly wanted atleast 450rwhp for all the work i did
so if i new what i new now, i wouldnt have touched a thing

Your going to lose a few with the aluminum flywheel being gone, but its worth it.

pdd, what ICL is the F14 on? If it's not 112, make it. Hell, try 114 or 115 while you're at it. That thing should be around 460 even with the cats.

Damn, I remember when you posted your first results and everyone told you that you should mill the heads and get the quench right, etc, and you'd get over 450. Must be frustrating. Although 441/408 is still way better than average.

air fuel curve is all over the place from what I can see. Are you tuning it yourself? 12:1 @ 4000 is costing you some torque for sure.
I would expect your combination to make more power also. Unless the exhaust with the cats is a big restriction. I also notice it is fattening up at the top of the run. (COT maybe) I am sure this is going to cost a few HP. Where is your timing set at?

Lean it out and retard the cam... If it's a stock F14, it's what 112+4? And yes, he said cats. But they should only be costing him 5-10rwhp. He should be up around 480 like all the other 230+ duration AFR headed cars with the LG headers and FAST intake, so 10rwhp won't get him there...

I would probably be expecting some "Mamo numbers" after all that myself. It is still impressive. What is the deal with that torque curve anyway and why does the HP drop off so quick with a cam like that? I wonder if having TEA do the heads could have hurt anything (Just wondering). Geez oww and with the milling and all.

slowhawk did my tuning. yes im fustrated with all the time and effort into the car. the cam is a 112lsa+4. was expecting at least 450rwhp. i dont get that torque curve either. don says somethings holding this car back. he adjusting the timing 6 degrees and nothing changed on the graph. feels like somethings holding the car back to. it doesnt take off till 4 grand

I would be curious to see your previous gragh with the unmilled 205's out of the box and your previous cam. Don has tuned alot of AFR headed cars with some pretty impressive results. I assume he is the same tuner that handled it originally? Also, you might want to go over basics just to rule them out (leakdown, cranking compression, lifter preload, etc.).

Good luck...
