Awful dyno numbers need advice
Yeah, I think I have the same problem. Full bolt-ons i dynoed 315hp and 310tq. With the f13 cam and underdrive pulley I dynoed 361hp not bad for an a4 but with a lousy 338 in tq. I only gaing 28lbs of tq with cam. Hp isnt too bad but whats up with my tq. Hope you or I find the answer.
That sounds real low... I pulled 335 rwhp/345 rwtq (Mustang Dyno) with stock heads, cam, and intake; just the bolt-ons in the sig. I'd be expecting at least 390 rwhp, if not over 400

Most of the time when one does a big cam install the TQ curve doesn't grow near what the HP curve does. My car for example made 346hp / 358tq with full bolt-ons minus the pulley. After my cam install (F13 on 114) I made 387hp / 369tq. Granted this is with a mail-order tune. Doing the math, I gained 41hp but only 11tq. The weather was different when I dynoed as well as where I dynoed so who knows. But who cares they are just numbers.

i wasnt sure of the specs on that cam so i looked it up; 237/242, .603"/.609", 113 LSA.Thats a pretty heafty camshaft. i made 15 hp less with the GT2-3 cam and midlengths and about the same tq.somethings off,if the compression was good and the A/F was good id check the rockers thats been stated and id check the plugs and plug wires, whats the gap on them?if u want i can host the pics, send it to nickstix@earthlink.net and ill post it tonight.

Doesn't look to me like the clutch is slipping. Remember this is the 3rd dyno run in a row and produced the best results. If the clutch was slipping wouldn't the numbers go down each run?
maybe the dyno is off..he said that a full bolt on car..only made 305..maybe the dyno is off a lil bit..not so uncommon....i would either run it a the track or go to a new dyno and just get some #s...
Try another dyno and wideband to verify both! I've seen dynos vary plenty. And if the wideband was off, the tune could be off. Easy to go somewhere else and get a second dyno.

JB151, my car is an M6 with the MS3 and has a 9" w/ 4.11s. My car had an LS6 intake when it made these numbers. I installed a Moser 9" before the cam swap, and a Powerbond pulley was installed with the MS3.
These are my Dynojet numbers before and after my MS3 was installed:
Stock Cam, Full Bolt-Ons, 10 Bolt w/ 3.42s - 345 rwhp / 361 rwtq
MS3 Cam, Full Bolt-Ons, 9" w/ 4.11s - 401 rwhp / 364 rwtq
Also, the stock clutch might not have anything to do with the low numbers, but it's not going to hold up very long with the MS3. Hope you get your problem figured out!
