Default New Cam only dyno

Well I finally got my fast intake and Nick Williams throttle body on and tuned. I gained 22 rear wheel with the intake and tb. Peak numbers were 458HP and 388TQ at 6800rpms through a 4.71 geared nine inch rear. This was dynoed at Racing Solutions and tuned by myself in speed density using HPtuners.

Nice. I'm suprised the TQ #'s are that low? Would've thought they'd be over 400 for sure with a M6.

Dude, he's running stock, unmilled, unported heads. We're talking no compression.

Let's give credit where credit's due. Nice work Joe! I owe you a visit next time I'm in Houston. We can play with my combination ans see what kind of ponies we can squeeze out of it.

Kooks 1-7/8 Stainless steel headers, my custom speed density tuning, spec stage 4 clutch with steel flywheel, Nick Williams tb fast 90mm intake ported by me, 38lb injectors, comp cam ground to my specifications, REV dual valve springs, retainers, and seat locators, rollmaster double roller chain, oil pump ported by me, 9 inch moser 4.71 gear, Mark Williams chromolly drive shaft, mezier street water pump, and a asp under drive pulley. That is pretty much every mod that I have.

A lot of power. Ford 9" with 4.71 gears probably absorb a lot of hp and torque. Itd be interesting to see what kind of power with a stock 10bolt.

How about some videos.

What's with the hostility man? I said nice numbers. I only brought it up because Thunder got around 410RWTQ with the TREX with stock, unmilled, unported heads with no compression, which is actually a smaller cam. https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...9&page=1&pp=20
He's actually making more HP than that car and on a 9 inch with steep gears (very impressive.) I just thought the peak TQ #'s seemed a bit low considering.

Sorry for being so "ridiculous" for making that observation.

Stock bottom end spinning 7500 on most of the dyno pulls. I am not a torque person. Torque rarely wins drag races and if it did we would be racing powerstroke diesels. Don't get me wrong torque is a good thing. But it is more important for a street car.

It is well over the .600 range. I only post some specs since of course I do not want to release all of my camshaft goodies. Also remember that the heads have never been off the car.
