Finally got some numbers - HPE 408
Nothing crazy about this setup, in fact it's pretty restrictive, which just so happens to reflect my cash situation as well. At any rate, I finally got the 408 tuned and dyno'ed today. The setup is the following:
HPE 408
11:1 SCR
244/248 635/627 112 (installed 4 degrees advanced for the restrictive heads)
Eagle crank
Callies rods
Diamond flat top pistons w/ 2cc reliefs
Stock 6.0 heads
SVO 42 #'s
LS6 intake
P/P stock TB
Edelbrock 1 7/8 stepped LT's/ORY
LM catback
After a few runs we learned it likes to run rich and it pulled 425hp/445tq. The heads are really (one of) the biggest bottlenecks in this setup. It's clearly obvious in the graph when the power peaks at 5500 with a cam that should peak around 6500+. I will post the graph tomorrow when I get back to my computer. Just thought I would share the results. I'm pretty damn happy with them actually with such a restrictive setup. I just can't be upset when I've got ~420 ft/lb tq available at 2800 rpm Enjoy.

Good numbers for those heads! Loads of torque!
BTW, my heads may be up for sale soon - one of my sponsors (my head porter) wants to see what he can get out of one of the newer castings out there, so he wants to swap them out this winter. I'd have to ask him what he would want for them. PM me if you are interested. And I am local to you.

Yea, the torque is pretty badass with my crappy setup. I won't quite have money for heads for a while though. I'm thinking maybe late spring or early summer. I wanna do heads/intake at the same time. I'll be getting the graphs up tonight. Thanks for the compliments guys

Yeah Jon, who took so long to put it together? slowpokes I think we did a decent job setting up the cam/motor/headers to make power where its capable of. The longtubes might need some tweaking in the future, but I think they are helping that hella torque at 2500. Get heads/intake that can feed it at 6800, twist the cam back 4 degrees,, and find the nitrous bottle
wouldnt be to hard to max out the stock fuel system

It's a 6spd with stock 3.42 gears. I'm quite happy with the numbers with my stock heads. Gotta give credit to my tuner (and caretaker of my car for the past many months) GrannySShifting
