i got my car dynotuned yesterday at thunder racing.i was shooting for 400 RWHP.i got 371hp/359tq.my car is a 99 SS M6 with 51k miles on it.yall think i couldve got more?
GTP 420 cam 226/226 .591 on a 112LSA
Thunder Racing hardened push rods
Comp 918 springs
Mac headers
Mac ORY
SLP loudmouth cat-back
Precision 4.10 gears
Whisper lid
SLP smooth bellow
Throttle body by-pass
BMR STB
EGR mod
Air pump delete
LS2 timing chain

you say dyno tuned - was it a base tune or the FULL dyno tune? I run the TR227 and made 391/379 through the 10 bolt - I picked up like 20 HP from the base tune to the Full Dyno tune from Thunder

he dyno tuned it.ran a impressing 12.0 115 lastnight

Anyone who shouts that's low should have been nearer 400rwhp, without knowing what type of dyno is a total PRAT.
If it was on a Mustang dyno then that's a strong number and would equate to over 390rwhp on a Dynojet.
If it was a Dynojet, then maybe it is a tad low, but really who cares a dyno is a tool not a measure. And if you just trapped 115mph I'd say that's pretty respectable.

However, I agree with you on the MPH. Great results for first-time out with the new cam.
