Default True or False on the Dynojet????

Just as it says ... true or false? ... and why?

1. MT ET Street drag radials will SLIGHTLY increase dyno numbers over street tires.

2. FLP race level 5 4L65E will put more power to the wheels than the stock 4L60E ... on the Dynojet.

3. The 3 1/2" aftermarket aluminum driveshaft will cost me slight power over the stock 3" aluminum D/S.

4. Now that the newly forged motor has 1,500 hard driven miles on it (the dino motor oil has been changed over to fully synthetic) it still will only gain 3-5 RWHP because it was bored/honed with torque plates in place.

Every little bit counts because I'm trying desperately to break over 400 RWHP ... TC unlocked. Not looking for expert opinions ... simply looking for what seems to have worked for you in the past. Thanks >

1. False....If the tire is the same size and air pressure it will be the same.

2. False....There shouldn't be any difference in power from a built 4l60e. If anything is different it may be lower depending on the parts weights/tolerances used.

3. Depends on the weight/rotational mas if they are the same then there won't be a difference. Even if there is a difference it will be slight.

4. This one I can't help you with. Maybe someone else has the info.

As for breaking 400 rwhp through an unlocked convrter it can be done, but it depends on your mods. You never said what was done to the motor, what stall, gears, etc...

runnin drag tires on the dyno will decrease indicated power output, the rollin resistance increase over a street tire is pretty substantial

drag tire will show less HP from my personal experiances...even though many times the tire itself is lighter. The tires "cup" on the roller especially in the higher mph.

He said ET "DRAG RADIALS"

Drag radials do not flex as bad as a full bias ply slick. If the air and size of the tire is the same as the street tires it will be a minimal difference if any at all.

They're at 25 lbs of pressure, so, should I throw 35 lbs at them for the dyno or drop them even lower? Dyno's tomorrow.

Pump them up for less rolling resistance. 32-35 psi should be good enough....

2.) False as long as both should read almost the same assuming you use the same converter for both.
