AFR is the ONLY head...
AFR is the ONLY head maker that helps us LSX guys with our engine setups period. I have yet to see any other head casting company post their engine set ups and dyno testing results in this forum. Keep up the OUTSTANDING work AFR.
Here are all the threads started by Tony of AFR. ENJOY!

ya, Tony's the man. however TroubledWine3 is correct, there are other sponsors who post up results and info about there heads. perhaps what you mean to say is no one posts as much in depth info about their R&D as Tony does. TR racing used to but they havent done much as of late.

since we are on the topic of afr heads. how is stage 2 or 3 5.7, or 5.3 heads stack up against the afr heads? i mean 2100 bucks for afr against 1500 bucks for some ported and polished heads?

I'm with Gollum man.
LGM steps up with useful/entertaining/interesting/R&D info too.
The thing is everytime they post up they have to deal with the haters.
Props also go out to JRP & Predator Z.
I assume this thread will get moved.

I've seen everyone post dyno result's/tests throughout the years. Tony from AFR just posts alot and gives some good insight.
I have a ton of Dyno sheets from pretty much every combo out there

Didn't know whether to respond to this or not.....LOL
Gollum, I appreciate that you appreciate the time myself and AFR has given to this board....it certainly makes it that much more worthwhile (you could have just sent me a PM!)
Also, as others have mentioned, there are certainly quite a few other companies (AND individuals) that post "good tech" and probably a handful more that wish they had the time to do so.
Bottom line, I have been an automotive enthusiast all of my life....I just happen to be fortunate enough to actually make a living at something I really enjoy (cylinder head design, engine building, dyno testing etc.). It makes the time I spend sharing the info not too much different than you guys sharing and posting info about your experiences. Being involved in it practically every day of my life (alot of my free time obviously as well) and having my own LS powered car to experiment on just enables me to share that many more experiences.
Anyway....If the mods feel the need to move this thread due to zero "dyno content" I certainly understand, just thought I would throw in my .02 before it might have been moved as I agree that it probably doesn't belong here.
Gollum...your welcome and I will try to keep up the good work....LOL
Call me at AFR if I can ever be of some assistance
Now back to our regular programming!
Thanks,
Tony
(PS....I might have some additional chassis dyno results on the 83' build-up in a week or so)
