Default Patriot/Cheatr dyno #s

Just got home from picking my car up from Rick at Synergy Motorsports. I'm pretty happy with the results. My last n/a dyno was 319 rwhp & 335 rwtq on a Dynojet dyno. Since then I have added a 12-bolt (which probably costed me a little hp), Patriot stage II ls6 heads, Thunders Cheatr cam, and a ls6 intake. On Rick's Dynapack dyno it made 388 rwhp & 375 rwtq. Not bad for stock exhaust manifolds and cats, and stock idle, etc. I couldnt get N20 results because the new electronic tps switch I put in was messing up, but I'll have 150 shot #'s soon enough. I'll post the dyno as soon as I get it scanned.

I would try to redyno on a dynojet. Those numbers seem way high for running through manifolds.

Heres a post about the exact same dynapack vs a dynojet in my area. They are very close.

You need to do more research on things before you make posts like this. That cheatr cam was designed around/for stock mani's and cats. Throw in some heads and you're set.

Great numbers man, looks nice!

No I don't. My point wasn't whether the cam likes stock manifolds or not.
It's about a certain Dynopack in question. BTW just because a cam is designed for stock manifolds doesn't guarantee any type of HP level so your premise makes absolutely no sense.

Ksett, I showed you the test has been done. 2 cars dynod on the actual dyno my car was on and a neighborhood dynojet and they were both within 6 hp of each other, one higher one lower. What more do you need?

Whats up man? Yeah I got the N2O working today and on the 100 shot it was blowing the tires off 1st-3rd gear. The street tires are useless

I don't need anything, I responded to posts that were made to me. If you believe that dyno is reading OK that's cool, maybe it was an issue in the past and it's been fixed. One thing for sure is it has in the past dynoed cars high compared to a shop I know and not just 2 cars. The only reason I brought it up is so you don't screw yourself into thinking you have yyy rwhp and mod your car for a hp goal that you later find out is incorrect. I would be pissed if such a scenario happened to me.

Again, shows exactly how much you DONT know. As I said, do your research on how cams can be designed etc. If it was because of a certain dyno, you should have specified that instead.

You need to learn how to read better. I suggested that he should redyno based on the high numbers through stock manifolds. What don't you understand about that? You responded with "the cam was designed for stock manifolds bla bla bla. What does your statement have to do with high HP numbers? I later point out that just because the cam is designed for stock manifolds, it does not guarantee a certain HP level (as you are inferring from your original post). Do you get it now? Are you a highschool kid with poor reading comprehension skills? You really need to do your research because the Cheatr cam or any other cam even stock is going to be limited with stcok manifiolds. Other wise we wouldn't bolt on headers running a stock cam would we? Is it making sense yet?
