that's mild to me, i will be installing a "large" cam..238/246 110+0 lsa

so SD tuning is easier, but really has no gains in terms of true hp increase?

Just a tip, you should go ahead and get that ground with 4 degrees of advance. The pin angle should be around 106. Unless you like being a little retarded!!!! LOL

We got a large shipment of cams late last week. We should have some of both 112 and 113 in stock. Let me double check when I get to the shop in the morning.

I have the graph and will get it up soon.
Holy cow! Was that on a Dynojet, and who did your tuning?

We are running an MTI X1 (230/227 .591/.571 112LSA) and with SD tuning on Rick's (Synergy) Dynapak with the new software (reads like a Mustang Dyno) we put down 385.3 rwhp/386.1 rwtq through a 3400 stall TC (A4).

I also was curious, our MAF is still in place as a spacer, did you replace it with anything to open up the flow? I was thinking Fernco from Home Depot as a spacer with the regular air elbo to absorb the engine rotation to keep from breaking our lid... *shrug*

It was on a Dynojet and the tuning was done by Charlie @ A&A Corvette. I replaced the MAF with a piece of black ABS plastic that connects snugly into the lid and then into a flexible smooth bellows to absorb the vibration.

I am waiting for Charlie to email me the run files and then i will get the graph up.

I don't believe it for one bit. There are people with AFR heads with a tad smaller cam and barely make those numbers.

SD tuning doesn't make a magical 20 more RWHP over MAF tuning especially with everything else being the same.

Were you using race gas and 30-32 degrees timing?

Then dont believe, i'll have the graph up this afternoon. Thats the whole reason i posted because i was surprised by the numbers. It was on 91 pump gas and is a safe tune. I guess there always has to be a rotten apple in the cart...

FYI: With the previous MAF tune the car made 414/385, so, YES, SD tuning DID add a magical 20 hp....

Anyone want to trade some TSP PRC LS6 heads milled down .17 for some stockers?

I have full boltons with the exception of an underdrive pulley.
Did you baseline the car before the heads/cam swap?

WS6 Kid- Nice numbers with the Torquer. Enjoy the setup!

looks like those 228/234 range cams lately r putting the best #`s , its all about the right combo and the right tune .

"Bigger is better"

Thats not always true.

Awesome numbers man , what timing was your car pulling?

Congrats.

It is SAE corrected and I will get the graph up as soon as I get the run files from the tuner. He is supposed to be sending them over very shortly. I have the stock graph, the first cammed tuned graph and the SD graph.

its all in how you tune...and it somewhat matters what you have bought and put into the car to get the power. some things work...and others don't

awesome numbers man! hopefully when I get a cam I will be up in the 400 range
