Default h/c dyno results

well i got my car dyno tuned sat and i was pleased but was hoping for more. First off my car is an a4 with a yank SS3600 stall,lt,ls6 intake,tsp catted y,gmmg catback, patriot 243 castings withs stock valves, f13 cam, manley dual springs,new lifters and oil pump. It made 382rwhp and 369rwtq (motor only) and 487rwhp and 414rwtq on a 125 shot dry. Are these good #s or am i missing alot in the tune? I think a/f was 12.5 across the board on both runs but i will try to post the graphs later. I dynoed before the h/c and n20 and made 280rwhp and 280rwtq thru the same converter. tell me what yall think.

Those numbers would be great unlocked. Do you know if they locked it on the dyno? Any time you have an A4 making over 400 rwhp locked up, you're considered having a strong setup so 382 rwhp unlocked would be great . 382 locked wouldn't be great.

Post a graph if you can.

I got 379 rwhp, with out changing the heads, I would expect more with your setup...

I think those r low numbers compared to my freinds holden comadore , he did a 420Rwhp and 398rwtq locked( i dont know if yours was locked) , he had the F13 and partriot stage 2 ls6. with a 125 shot he dynoed 520rwhp and ran a best of 10.6 with nitrous.

ohh forget , he got a 3200 stall. and ran 11.5 N/A

these numbers were unlocked. i still dont know why the tq only went up 45 with a 125 shot. so do you think i should get the tune worked on. I think he said my timing was at 26 o r27 n/a and 25 on the n20

push the timing to 29-30* range and get your converter locked.

Be happy, my car made 383 rwhp, 368 rwtq and that was with $3000 Cartek heads (they have upgraded valves/springs). So basically I spent a **** load of money to drop 1/2 a second in the 1/4 plus I'm probably the only H/C LS1 that runs low 12s...whoop dee ******* do.

sorry about the bad luck but i guess everyones car reacts diffrent. Overall i guess 100 hp on motor above what i had aint bad. Anyone know why my converter dosent seem to wanna lock up and my idle hangs at 1200-1500 when comming to a stop

That's ok, i'm going to add an STS kit (and possibly swap in a different cam) over the summer. Hopefully then I'll make what a normal H/C LS1 makes...

Does it matter (I really don't feel like giving anyone a bad name, especially since he's had good results with pretty much every car but mine)? It has a 12.8 A/F Ratio. I don't have a graph, but I'm doing a 90/90 setup and an underdrive pulley later this week with a re-tune. I'll post that graph up.

Those #s are low compared to my cam only #s were 393 unl. and 423 loc. f-14 cam ss4000e!

I'd add a little timing in it N/A, then lock the converter then you should be 400 or better.
