02 z06, ms3, LT's, OR-X, catback, tune results
Posting up for my buddy, he doesnt cruise the board too much, and is rolling off to iraq soon.
He has done his research on his combo. He recently sold his 04 Cobra and swapped over to an 02 z06 that is mint and started the modding the 1st day he had it. He has me wanting to ditch my cobra now. he has plans for more cubes, more nitrous and TEA heads once he gets back
He started off with a ms3 cam, Vette Doctor LT's , 3" OR-X & Corsa Indy catback. He uprgaded to an ls2 timing chain while the cover was off, and he some sort of intake on it, not factory. Im not sure what type of springs and retainers he is running in the car, I know they are the double type. I dont know the specifics on the tune other than whats in the graph.
He has a the nitro daves 150 shot plate setup on the car, but couldnt locate plugs locally for it, so it will be tuned on the bottle at a later time.
Here is the graph, said the car was getting close to running out of injectors way up top around 6800.

Nice power! Gotta really rev the snot out of it, but in a light car like the Z06, it's probably not too much trouble. Congrats. Thanks for posting for your buddy.

Thanks Allen for throwing up the graphs. The cai im running is a callaway honker.I got the cam package from TSP with the prc springs and pushrods.
The headers are 1 7/8s i know they are hurting the torque a little but since i planned on going with the stroker in the future i went with them, besides the nitrous will make up for that
The car doesnt pull alot harder below 3500 but after that all hell breaks loose!
For the tune we got the air fuel right then played around some with the timing and it didnt pick up any power of the stock timing(22 degrees) so we left it there. Now all i have to do is get a clutch in there that will hold the power because the stock clutch isnt cutting it

IS the stock clutch done with the nitrous passes? OR done just with the cam.
Im on stock clutch and going ms3. Was hoping it would last this summer at least.
It already sticks on SPRAY with stock cam lol. So spraying is going to be minimal until clutch goes in.

I havent made any nitrous passes on the clutch yet.But since i first got the car the clutch would stick some after i would run through the gears and know that i have the cam in i cant even get through more than 2 gears before it sticks to the floor.
I tried changing the fluid and that helped a little but now its back to the same old stuff.I think the problem has more to do with the slave cylinder than the clutch.I have a new slave on the way and a centerforce df laying around that i might try to see if it will hold.I was really hoping that i could just hold off on putting a clutch in it untill i get back but it looks like theres now way i can ride the one thats in it out till i leave.

Mine are the cnc'd ones they are not ported. I bought the RT66 used and the guy switched to bullets and gained 6hp on a stock car, who know what its worth on a modded car. I'm not going to change them because the cops around here are pretty ruff and i don't need the hastle. Very nice number as well i'm shure he is as happy as i am, the car pulls hard on the highway
