Race weight:3500
RWHP:403 Torque:366

8.80@87 1/8th mile
13.20@113 2.3 60' 1/4 mile

That was in 90 degree weather

This was in cooler weather

8.60@89 2.3 60'

What should I run on motor when I get my 60' time down?

I have a kit on the car and it put down 560RWHP and 510 Torque

What should I run on the kit?

You should put red dots for all the stick shift cars. Shows driver's error. Be sure and put purple chevelles in with the driver's error dots as well.

,|,, up yours jessie, no driver error on the automatics...

I was thinking about splitting autos and sticks with different colored marks or maybe NA and power adder cars. Need to get up around 100 data points first, 40 isnt enough.

Why don't you collect some data on those cars at your work and help me out. I need to fill in the scatter down on the bottom.

Your mph shouldn't change much, maybe 1mph. Your ET will probably just get better by whatever you shave your 60'. So if you went from a 2.3 60' to a 1.8, just knock that 5/10 of your ET....12.7@113

According to the trendline, a 560rwhp, 3500lb car should go 127.8mph. IF you can get all that power to the ground, I guess you'd hope to go 10.5-11.0 like most 125mph cars. But I wouldn't go tell everyone your car CAN run 10.5 until you have a time slip though...

Bump. this thing got lost on page 2.

Still surprised how many people aren't posting, I keep seeing dyno results and track numbers in other threads. Would it be OK for me to duplicate this thread in the track results forum??

3650 raceweight. 12.07 @ 111.82 with DA at 1100+ feet. Stock motor. 328.9 on a dynojet. I included the DA because I think the dyno corrects to sea level, doesn't it? I'm not sure how or if the DA during the track run should factor into this. This extra info couldn't hurt and since I knew it, I included it. Since there's easily 2-3 MPH trap speed difference when the DA changes by 2500' maybe this needs to be factored in as well??? Just something to consider in the search for accurate data. Particularly good or particularly bad DA could help explain the worst deviations.

Yes I'm 100% sure that my car weighs that much honestly. I just put it on the scales last Wednesday to do some suspension dialing in. Car weighs 3553 in full race trim now. Heavy car.

On the Mustang websites. Actually you're in luck, there is a post very similar for the info you need/want

Sorry about being your last deviant. I think my dyno #'s are very weird because of the nonlockup converters. Keep in mind that if you're trying to put together a master list or something, take into account that nonlockup converters in the higher hp cars lie and don't show the true horsepower because of all the slip.

Cheers,
Tim

I followed your link and added all of their posted information to my spreadsheet. Quite a bit more scatter around .140 hp/lb, but hey it's real data! They helped fill in 6 more points between .16 and .25.

Well the car ran a 12.60 w/2.0 60' without me driving. Also I am having the shift the car at 6000 because of the stock revlimiter. So I figure it will help out alot to be able to shift at 6700-6800.
