i dynoed 385rwhp with an f14, fast 90, nw90mm tb, QTP LT's, no cats, pulley, elec. water pump, fipk, *stock ported heads with bigger valves*, 12 bolt rear.
i know these #,s are real low but recently have been coming to the conclution that i probably got scammed on my heads
. if that is the case how many hp could i be leaving on the table with stock heads and what would i be looking at gaining with a set of Dart heads.

If the heads were ported improperly, I could see you losing 20rwhp from that. Try slapping some PRC LS6 heads on there and see what happens. Also, check to make sure your compression is good. Perhaps the port opened up the chambers quite a bit and you've lost some compression.
Otherwise, 385rwhp seems low for even an F14 with a ported LS6 intake and stock LS1 heads. That should be close to 405rwhp. Add in a FAST 90, mildly ported heads (should be at least as good as LS6 heads), EWP, and the F14, and I'd expect 430rwhp pretty easily. Just stock LS1 heads with the FAST 90 and F14 should be around 415rwhp.

I’d recommending calling Allan @ FMS.
Talk with him and look at a balance approach to your set-up.
He will be best to help you meet your goals as you already have his cam.
Good flowing heads, compression and match camshaft are only a few key points to having a balance set-up.
Good luck,
Bob

the budget stage 1 ported 243s are a great value right now.with them and your mods 420 should be very reachable.maybe a .015-.020 haircut or a thinner gasket and 430 + if no p/v clearance problems anyway.
