The people that dynoed your car can give you that. STD will typically be higher than SAE. Also, with the barometric pressure reading around 29.40 on your dyno runs, you were probably given a bit of a slightly inflated reading (since actual baro was in the 29.90-30.0 range). Not to worry, your actual SAE readings with the proper barometer readings are probably still within 10-15 rwhp of what you posted. Nice combo!

So I saw the name on your dyno sheet. John Butts. Used to have a friend with that name in NC that I've lost touch with. Didn't know if that was your name or a name of someone at the speed shop or a random one typed in.

Ah, ok. That's cool. I didn't think my friend had gone to MO. Last I heard he co-owned an engine shop in Ohio. We used to car pool to school in my Black SS and he was talking about getting one, thought maybe he finally did. Nice car and great numbers. That is one of the setups I've been looking at after I get through the wedding this fall.

are u still running a 10 bolt? i didnt realize those numbers werent corrected. still nice numbers though.

You would have had a lot better torque if you would have went with a .040 cometic head gasket

All of these factors can easily make 20-40rwhp difference in final readings compared to other cars on other dyno's.
It was on a dynojet, sae corrected, and i believe the level of smoothing was zero

i almost went with cometics but i didnt want to deal with them leaking, yea yea i know copper spray but i dont care, its not like 397rwtq is little

no he wouldnt need valve reliefs with a cam that size and the stock size valves in those heads.

Their is no reason why the cometics would leak if everything is set up properly.

But hey...your car made good power anyway...I was just saying you could have made even more with some cometics.

Congrats...be careful with it...you dont want to end up in a tree like I did

nice numbers....i have the same set up without the valve job and without the 90/90...it put down just as much torque (396.7) but less hp (424.3) un-tuned. hopefully when i put the 90/90 on there and tune it i see a little more.
