stock engine dyno charts - LS1 and 02+ LS6
Does anyone have engine dyno charts of a stock 98 – 2000 LS1 and a stock 02+ LS6? I’m trying to isolate the differences between the stock LS1 cam from the 98-2000 F-Body and the 02+ LS6 cam. I would rather see an engine dyno chart because you’re not seeing effects from converters and driveline loss.
Thanks, -Dave

I found the original GM dyno comparisons.
1) LT5 vs LS1 vs 01 LS6

2) 01 LS6 vs 02 LS6

Excellent overall info on the LS6.

No, I remembered the heads... the valve size and CR are different, however I didn't think they would have much of an impact on the lower RPM numbers... if anything I think the smaller valves would help the low end but I don't think it will make much of a difference. I would like to see an exact comparison but I'll take what I can get! I think a torque converter and driveline loss can skew your results more than the heads.

That is some good info... thanks! I think I will be taking the 02+ LS6 cam after all.... besides, my heads already have the larger valves.
