My first dyno + tune
Okay, before I post my dyno sheet I wanted to know what you guys think I should expect out of my car. It's basically stock, with only a lid and Corsa catback. I know that the factory rated the 2000 Camaro SS at 320-325 HP (can't remember exactly) and I'm assuming that that's what it should make at the crank, right? So, theoretically, what should my car make at the crank vs. rear wheels?

80 mph in 6th gear cruise control set. I drove 15 hrs from Texas to Michigan on two tanks of gas. Bone stock she used to get about 30 mpg on the eway in 6th gear at 80 with the cruise on. That's actual mileage, not the bs instant mileage on the readout. The ASP ud Pully and Meziere EWP made the biggest difference towards improving my gas mileage. The other was letting the computer regulate my highway speed VS my right foot LOL.... Anyways bro good luck on your car, and let the modding begin. Heads/cam/exhaust/intake are in your future, I can see it now. Later

When my car was bone stock it made 302 or 303 rwhp and with all the mods as you can see I ended up with an additional 170 rwhp.
2000 corvette FRC bone stock LS1 302 rwhp
" " H/C/I/Headers etc 473 rwhp

Then, I guess I'm in good shape to start modding. After a little bit of a tune, I got 304 rwhp and 309 rwtq.
I was pretty happy with that. Considering it's basically stock, I was afraid it would be a lot lower, especially since it was dynoed (sp?) on a Mustang. I've heard that a Mustangs numbers are usually lower than a Dynojet.
I guess it's about time to start making a grocery list for modding. Probably won't do anything before next summer though. I'll be shopping for an Avalanche by then and my SS will no longer be a DD.
So, allngn_c5, if you have any insight to what I should look for, in the way of cams and what not, I'd appreciate a PM. I am extremely uneducated about internals and such. Oh, and anyone else who has any ideas feel free to post or PM. I'd basically like to get fairly north of 400 rwhp while still being extremely streetable.
Any and all input is welcome.

Thanks guys. 304 rwhp sounds a little anemic compared to what most of you have but, I keep reminding myself that my SS is essentially unmodded. Oh, and thanks for the PMs Doug. Good info.
