i know all to well about blown motors, good luck keeping #7 from cracking into pieces. get a ported fast 90 and im sure you will cross over the 600rwhp mark and possible keep #7 from leaning out. i was told the stock manifold design is the cause for this. PM lt1dave, he sells a ported FAST 90 new for about $900 shipped, that is what im using on my LS2 403 that should be running by friday. LS1 stock pistons are crap and will eventually come apart. not trying to be negative but my ati procharged Z06 lasted 2k miles running a 3.85 pulley it was only showing 6psi of boost. 518/459 was what i hit. awesome numbers, i bet your car runs like a bull with its ***** strapped.

Hey, thanks for the advice #7 is a common problem. If Fast90 can help that I will get one. I have been runing at 537rwhp for about a year now, so far I have been lucky.

No, running 42's but am also running straight methanol in my Alkycontrol system. Peak was actually 590rwhp but we dialed it back a tad.

Hey Larry glad you like the cam! Sorry about the duty stuff-no 2 ways around it for me or you-so much for free trade-at least your governmnet is alot fairer to you guys-when i bought that cam I got a bill for $140 on top of the $399! But yeah man get some 60's and don't even bother with the fast. Get a wideband stick in in the driver side and tune her to 11.1 and you'll be fine. I've been over 600 all summer with no issues with the meth. Do you have any pics of the car under the hood-we don't get to see any GTO's up here.

Got to give credit to the tuner.... Richard Waitas from Magnaflow. We actually ran 590rwhp but dialed it back a degree.

Will do, thanks for the advice.

Quick question for you or anyone else.... have you ever used a restrictor plate on a centrifigal blower with smaller pulley to try and bring the boost on sooner.... and your experience with it? I am going to give it a try, got advice from someone who had experience doing it and was very happy with the results. Just wondered who has done it and if they have any tips to share. I will post the results soon I hope.

It's pretty common with Vortech/Paxton to do a restrictor plate due to there nature of lacking midrange.
