Wow dood you really need to take it easy just because we think you are off on your predictions doesnt mean you have to take everything so personal. We have been around for a while and have run alot of different combos.
I dont take offense when a guy who runs 13`s ( YOu mr Hooked on phonics funny guy ) tells me (The guy who runs 10`s and dynos what you think you might do one day) that I know nothing and your the man with all the answers. You just dont know any better so its not your fault.

Lets agree to disagree on your predictions on your car. It makes great power just the way it is and you are happy and thats all that matters.
Now lets stop taking this guys thread into a name calling match and get back on topic

I love my 233/239 too! Had a mail ordered tune from TSP, smells real rich, I need to hit up a dyno tune here in STL. Anyone know a good place here?

I heard really good things about the 233/239 also. My friend runs on in his z06 and loves it. Car pulls like a frieght train on the big end.

Anyone else realize that if these numbers were accurate, this car would be puting down over 500 if it were M6 with a 90/90?

If it was using HPTuners etc to scan it while dynoing he can lock it during the pulls.

Who/where did the tuning?

Offaxis,

Personally I dont know what a dood is I can only assume you meant dude. But irregardless I apologize if you thought I was trying to get into a name calling match that was not my intention but before you go and start saying things the guy on the other end may not be a young punk who does not know a thing about cars. I on the other hand DO I have built my fair share of cars and wish I were still a young punk . I do not like being told in your words that I live in fantasy land and theres no way, well where theres a will theres a way. I do know on the other hand what my dyno sheet says and what others say about dynojets versus mustang. So on a lighter note, the guy that has the dynojet but never uses it is selling it another guy and so YEAH I will be able too find out if what is said is true.
No hard feelings to you and sorry for hijacking your thread to have a heated discussion to the thread starter!

ITs all good man. I love to see all of the strong ls1 combos that guys are running. Btw very impressive upgrade porting on your heads. I remember just a couple years ago it was 1200 to by the ls6 cores alone. N0t everyone could afford such a good casting. Now with the price drop and prc/patriot and others have a put out a killer set of heads for the masses. These are good times to be a lsx guy. The car this thread was started about is a beast. I cant wait to see what this car would put down with a 90/90 setup.

Just think if I was wrong about his converter being lock. He is now making 442 You can defintly add 20 hp for locking the converter and another 20 for a 90/90 setup. These now look like m6 #`s

Great results!! I did some calculating & using that combo in our GM High Tech article the stock motor made 530flywheel horsepower. Using a 20% drivetrain loss that's about 425ish rwhp. Just guessing I would figure those numbers are more than likely locked, but either way the power is AWESOME! I've seen those heads time & time again out power cylinder heads that cost twice the price, so there's no doubt they can make big power!

I think it's time to take that thing racing!!

I plan on going out to the track on the 22nd part of the muscle car asscociation weekend sat dyno day and sun racing life is good. I have already ordered the 90/90 set up and a stall and I am pretty sure my converter was locked but not sure they didnt lock it themselves but was told by my tuner that being stock it should be locked at 1700 anyway but who knows.

Your tuner doesn't understand how lock up converters work then.

You were right offaxis, the converter was locked for sure.

I'm gonna race at the battle of the imports (gay) on october 28th and 29th. That is the only night that our track has an open lane for the rest of the year. i'll be happy with anything in the 11s on my 26x11.50x16 et streets

Track numbers do the real talking. Nice dyno numbers none the less but the one consistent arena is the 1320. I just got my car dynoed and I didn't have the highest numbers out there but I was happy as a pig in **** so I understand the feeling. Good luck at the track and keep us up to date with how the car runs.

Just looking at the curves, it looks like the Converter is locked to me... Deffinatly since you are running a 3600 rpm stall converter. You can tell its locked by seeing the curves that low.
