The converter was locked on the dyno for all of his pulls.

Default UPDATE- track times!!!

went out to the track today. first pass off was 11.6 @117 with a 1.6 60'. my goal for the day was 11s. full interior 1/4 tank gas with misc junk in the car on 16" firebird wheels with et streets. i never got a good clean run in. i kept hitting the limiter because my tranny doesn't have a manual valve body, so i shift 300 rpms early to hit it just right. on the first pass i hit it from 2nd to neutral for atleast a second. i will post a vid later. on the 11.9 pass, i accidentally stuck it in 3rd from 1st and just rode it out. here are the time slips. . . whatcha think?

Good runs....that stock shifter is a pain with a th350/400....

with that 118.50 and 60 ft, youve got a 11.3-11.4 in that car with some more seat time and small changes.

I think you're running the closest set-up to what mine is going to be when it's done. Now I'm very hopeful...

i agree. . .

tune it for these bigger injectors, good shifter, skinnies, vac. booster so brakes will hold higher stall, take out seats and random other junk in car, and a 90/90 setup might get me in the deep 11s.

I went 118.3mph with 380-385rwhp in a full weight 6-spd just for comparison, I would think your car has alot left in it.

1.9-2.0, its just a full weight street car. When I get my heads back I'm hoping for high 11's @ 120+.

I got good flow numbers out of them as well at .600 lift and last night after good street tune and then more tuning on the dyno hit 412 RWHP on a mustang dyno at 4800 ft above sea level, stock stall but it was locked!! If we go by the commonly held belief that a mustang reads 10-15% lower than a dynojet and I use the lower 10% thats still bout 41 more ponies at the wheel on a dynojet making my numbers around 453 RWHP. So it can be done and we will probably see it done alot more who says you need a big cam to make good numbers!

Acually I think I found the secret you have to have the name Chris to do it haha
you made these numbers with a blower?

that's good mph... east coast cars usually go a little faster than us out here in the west, but i think your mph will go down as your 60' goes down. you might lose 1-2mph with a 1.6-1.7 60'. full weight street car here too.

Standardly, if your car is already dead hooking, you will pick up mph leaving harder or off a t-brake etc comparitively. You shouldn't lose mph if you can flash the converter harder or get the car to 60ft better unless it wasnt hooking well before. If your car does not have enough gear/converter, you will often see a mph gain on a pass that doesn't hook well or spins the tires.

i agree which is why i picked up mph, but i think he is probably spinning the tires with that 6 speed, which would result in a mph loss with a faster 60'/dead hook. am i correct?
