Default 224/228 581/588 110 LSA & ported 241's--Baby cam LOL -452rwhp&408rwtq

I'm a little late on posting this but here is the combo. A set of 241 ported heads done by ARE way back in 2002, a cam that they suggested-224/228 581/588 on a 110 LSA-from 2002, a Tony Mamo ported Fast 90/90, stepped kooks, bla, bla, bla. Biggest gain was from having it retuned by Don Kinder(slowhawk) Put down 452rwhp and 408rwtq threw a 12 bolt rear with 4.30 gears with a Denny's nitrous ready driveshaft. Those numbers would be a lot higher with a stock rear, stock gears ,and stock driveshaft. Not sure if I would gain much from a set of aftermarket heads and havent seen enough aftermarket combo's making more to justify buying new heads. Plus this is a little baby cam I'm told by many so I should be able to get more out of my combo with a bigger cam. It goes back to the track in 10 days. If I can get it to go 10's NA I may just leave it alone. It has already gone 11.2 full weight against the wind before it got retuned. I picked up 22rwhp and 34rwtq na from the retune. With some weight loss I hope to go 10's NA. I was also way rich before on the spray and made huge gains there. Time will tell

Nice! I'm partial to the SOM and I love the way it looks lowered. I want to lower my car but I'm afraid of how it would hook afterwards.

I had the heads off to change a head gasket and there were some eyebrow marks on a couple of my pistons so I guess I cant go with a bigger cam. Makes me wonder if they stamped the right cam. I didn't think it would be that close. The heads were only milled 30. My head gasket turned into a nightmare cause 2 bolts stripped out in the block , one being against the firewall. This all happened sunday night. Between then and now I pulled the engine repaired the block and got the engine ,trans and driveshaft in and got my rockers in and adjusted. I have sat & sunday to get it finished for a GM hightech performance shootout being held on monday at a privite track rental. I have been busting my *** to get this car back together. Hope I get it done in time

what a difference a great tune makes. Those are some sick numbers for that setup. All the hard work will be paid back once you get to the track. Good luck. Please post results.
