Awesome gains. 19/18 at the wheels...can't complain about that, esp. on a 224 cam. Nice.

Was that a 90 or a 78 setup?

How do you think my car would do with a ported 90 mm fast and ported shaner considering I already have an unported 78 mm fast with a ported (?) 78 mm tb ??? I currently make 460 rwhp and 420 rwtq. Do you think 485 rwhp and 440 rwtq would be out of the question ??? If so I think it would justify the expense for me. Looking to maximize my N/A setup, and the 78/78 just ain't cutting it. Thanks for posting the graph.

While it is a different setup then yours, I tried the 78mm Fast when they were first released on a mild H/C car and only picked up 5hp after it was swapped out (ls6). I sold it immediately afterwards to another board member. He informed me as well that it only made a little over 5hp on his setup. I would think you would notice a gain if you went to a 90/90 as all of the cars I have done with them make good power. I'll agree it is damn expensive for what you get, but when you are the point that you are, it is almost the only thing left to do. Worse case is you keep the 78mm and see if the 90mm picks you up any power. It may not on your setup (I highly doubt it won't) and then you can sell it on here for just a little less then you paid.

Thanks for your comments. I talked to Tony Mamo about it and he thought I would see about 15 rwhp and maybe 12 rwtq. I'd like to see about 25 rwhp and 20 rwtq for my 2 grand (intake + porting + TB + install + tuning) but then again who wouldn't.

Thanks again for the quick comments. Anyone with a Corvette making 450 or more rwhp before adding a ported 90/90 combo please chime in. I want to see some results before I go looking for the best price. Thanks.

If you could see one of Tony's intakes, you would be amazed. The time he puts into one and the quality are awsome. I understand the money issue all to well as I will be putting one on my personal car in the next 2 weeks. It is expensive, but IMO well worth the money.

Best price I have seen is from Young at Byunspeed (and I checked around). Easy to get ahold of and good pricing.

It was exactly one year between the dyno runs. The heads were just freshened up and compression raised from stock to 11:1. No other mods except the Fast intake and throttle body. The Fast TB has since been replaced with a Nick Williams. THe Fast TB is a paper weight .

The car pulls fantastic. Ran mitchell242 from 30mph and pulled him pretty good until he got traction. Not a fair comparison though. My cam is only 224/224 .563/.563 on a 114lsa.

I will say I read collins posts and he seems to be the exception. I know the gains on my small h/c car.

By the way the intake is not ported, yet.
