Default Ported TB and Descreened MAF result's

Got bored today and headed to the dyno.Car is the same I posted before which is a stock 02 346 with Kooks,Magnaflow and 4000 stall. All runs are with a locked converter,no timing changes and A/F dialed in.Engine temp was 185' on the beggining of each pull.

Run 5 is the before -It is from last time but the before pulls today were exactly the same #'s and follow perfectly, just the old graph was smoother for comparison(had noise on the pulls)

Run 9 -changed to a ported TB done by myself. No A/F changes needed.

Run 12- removed MAF screen, car went .6 point leaner and lost 15hp at first.I dialed the A/F back to the other's and gained some back but still lost hp.

So,on a stock/header car the ported TB was worth 8hp/2tq with most of the gain up top and a descreened MAF lost hp.I know a MAF mod is good on H/C cars but it just doesn't work on these lower hp cars.

Graph 1 shows the difference between the 3 and graph 2 shows the HP loss with the MAF

Damn MAF descreening. Those TB numbers surprised me though. Good work.

I've pulled the screens out of a few cars on the dyno during runs and they have all picked up 5rwhp or so after getting the +.2-4 AFR back down

I've always gained on H/C cars but it seamed like this header car didn't like it.I couldn't do the test anymore perfect than this.
