Default F13 and Dart 225's

404rwhp and 368rwtq (locked)
Unlocked the hp was 397 the torque was around 360.

All that was installed;

F13 / 112LSA, Dart 225's (out of the box), .040 commetic, stock rockers and TSP ported oil pump. **Along with the mods in my sig**

I sent the shop an email to see if they could send me a copy of the graph so I can post it ..

I would like to see the graph as well, since it looks like you pulled the same cam I am running for the F13 and I am also running Dart 205's. Would make an interesting comparison.

Did they tune the car? I would expect for you to be in the 430's at least. 400 is no slouch, but I would expect more. One of my friends down here just did a F13 only swap with bolt on did 400 rwhp. Of course Futral did the swap and the tuning.

The F13 is a good cam. Tons of lowend power and torque.

Yes, they did tune it.

Considering I am running cats, mids and a stock TB .. I'm pretty happy with the numbers. I've seen higher numbers posted with the F13 and Dart 205's .. but apples for apples, I have never seen a car with this exact set-up .. from the Dart 225's down to my 3:23 gears so .. I am happy with the numbers.

Now I just need to get my traction worked out

I might have found some more power!

Since I left the dyno I hadn't had a chance to play. Today I did! ..The car wouldn't down shift from the usual "sweet spot" ...30mph. I tired several times .. however, it did down shift from 10mph once. I figured it may in the tune but had read on here where TPS determines "kick down". Then I remebered when the tuner was tuning "driveability" he had put slack in the throttle cable to make sure it was all the way closed (apparently he had a little trouble getting it to idle just right). Anyway .. I had a friend mash the throttle wide open and I checked TP by the throttle cam to bump stop. The throttle cam stopped about a 1/4" from the bump stop. I reset the the cable to full opening and made sure it seated fully close when slack and then went for a ride. WOW! HUGE difference! AND I had my sweet spot again .

In the street tuning portion (off the dyno) the car wanted to "creep" pretty bad so he made additional adjustments in the tune. I'm not sure if he messed with the throttle cable then or if it was during the dyno tune, I can't remember (LONG day!!). I'll call him on monday to confirm.

Yes I did.

He looked at my run file and said the computer (car) said it was @ WOT during the dyno pulls. Assuming there's a volt parameter for WOT (ie 14 to 14.75) sent by the TPS .. I'm leaving room for the possibilty the signal sent may have met the parameter although the butterfly was not completely open. I can duplicate the throttle position if I ever find out what voltage = WOT.

My 1st WOT run on the street (just off the dyno) leaves the impression that the trottle pos. was not wide open.

It may take another ride to the dyno to sort things out for sure.

I wouldn't really worry about it as long as it fills good on the street now.

Update:
Added S60 w/ 3:73, Magnaflow cats and ported TB. Dyno'd 404/368 (unlocked) w/ the SS3200 stall. Looks like the cats and ported TB made up for any loses with the Dana and 3:73's and even picked me up a little.

Best 1/8 .. 1.64 60ft. 7.48 @ 91.23 (SS3600 stall)

not bad, that cam has some potential to it. I did the numbers in my sig with the mod, I am happy (for now, until I put in a custom grind )

^^ Damn! Is that with an M6?

I've been thinking of putting on a ported Fast 90 set-up and some LT's .. I just might have to now. It would be an interesting comp (Dart / AFR)

yes it is an M6 and through the 9", would be pretty sick if it was an auto though

Ported FAST would most likely gain around 20 hp and some good LT more on top of that. I didnt even notice that was through mids.

Thanks John!

I feel like the car has 11.5's in it as she sits (full weight), w/ a decent 60'. I'm on 315 M/T's now .. we'll see!
