Talking Torquer v2 Dyno Numbers

399rwhp 377rwtq

The graph with the three runs has the first run(green) which was with the cutout closed(super turbo muffler)...oh boy what a difference the cutout makes

I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with the results!!!!

Big thanks to Jason and all the Guys there, a bunch of super great guys!!!! If you want great products and service from genuine people, then TSP is where you need to get your stuff.

Nice looking power curves. Too bad you have to run with the cutout open to enjoy it though. Time to look for a more free flowing catback huh?

Thanks Patrick. I wanted a cam that didn't have to be reved to 7000rpm to use it and it appears I have such a cam
Actually, I wanted the muffler to make the car quiet and to be able to travel in comfort. I drove 2 hours to Lubbock, each way, today and the road noise was far greater than my exhaust. I will be getting a QTP cut-out for when I want to race, which is few and far between for me.

The first run was also on the base tune Jason put in. The changes he made to the tune between the first(muffler) and second(open cutout) pull I'm sure attributed greatly to the difference in power as well.

I haven't got on it yet.
My final choice was between the 233/239 and torquer 2. I wanted a little lower rpm band. I like the results and am glad I didn't go bigger, but thats me

very similar to my graph but you got more torque than i did. this was the pull before the final tweaks on my car but it only make a couple more hp and torque. mine was done thru a dana 60 w/ a 4.11 what type of rear end are you running?

I'm just happy it made good numbers and drives good. If we ever get our track back, I will see what it can do.

Why didn't you go with the T3? I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to cams, but isn't the t3 supposed to have better power under the curve? (even though your dyno looks like pretty good power under the curve)

T3 = 231/234 .643"/.598" 111 LSA

My cam idles choppy enough for me as my DD and I wanted to stick with 918's. Others will bash me for that choice
I plan to do heads by the time these springs need replacing anyways.

the 918's are the same spring that they use to rate at .625 lift, they changed it when they added the dual springs. It works for this cam as I am running them as well. with the dual springs you get the other stuff that makes it worthwhile.
