Ok, well heres the other videos from the viper (incar).

I was gonna wait and put together a nice video with everything at once, but you guys seem a little antsy, lol.

the first video is where he got the jump and then I reeled him in, and the second one was pretty much a good even punch.

Hey I just noticed you're in AZ too.

I'm just curious because I'm going to be going turbo on my truck here in the near future and I'm trying to get an idea where I'll be. My goals are right about where you're at.

What's your converter stall speed, and where do you start to build boost?

BTW - if you decide to upgrade your injectors, I'd recommend checking out the Acceleronics Versafueler. I did it on mine. Jeff was great to talk to and the converter box was surprisingly easy to install.

With straight VP16 you could probably bump it up to 12:1. What are you at now? 10:1?

That might get you down to 95% at the same power...... room to grow again lol

Ya Im off of 48th st and warner in ahwatukee...

If your in the area, your welcome to stop by and take a look

Id take you for a ride, but I got some misfiring issues I need to figure out (my guess is plugs, plug wires or o2 sensors)

Im a 6 speed, so no converter here. I start building boost around 3k or so, and prob by 3500 or so its REALLY moving.

Are you talking about A/F or compression?

I think im running high 11's, low 12's at the top of the rpm range on A/F...

My wideband sensor is broken though, need to get another sensor.

Your car is a beast - that Viper was way out of its league.

I'm up in north Phoenix by 101 and I-17, but I might have to head down sometime soon and check it out. I'm looking for a little lower spool RPM since I need the low-end torque. If I go with a Garrett turbo it will probably be a GT42 with a 1.15 or 1.28 a/r housing. I'd like to start seeing boost right at or just a little below 2400 RPM, and I'm not planning on wrapping it out any higher than 6200 or 6300 RPM. How much psi did it take to make those numbers?

Those numbers are on 15 lbs...

Normally its tuned for 13.5 but since it was hella cold and very humid, it looks like it compressed it a bit more...

You might wanna check with Jose in the FI forums for a turbo that would fit your goals...

What kind power are you looking for? Is it on pump or race fuel?

You might wanna go with an S80 or S85 (I think they have it), supposed to spool up better, make a lotta power and is a smaller fit.

K, I finally got the graph to work. It looks a little different then the one I printed out, so I'll try to get a picture of that one when I get home and post that up tommorow...

First one is speed ran, second one is Engine speed but you can see the tire spin on it.

I dont know why the tq numbers arent showing up though...

Edit : FYI, pull starts at 2k rpm and is 500 rpm increments to just before 6500...

Quick Reply: New Dyno numbers with 408 and GT55 turbo...
