Are these engine dyno or chassis dyno numbers, and is that a pan that moroso did for you?

These are engine only. And Yes Moroso sent a pan, Ray made modifications to it during mock up and sent it back to moroso to do so. That is the finished product.

May want to try Dynomax ultra flow welded mufflers. They sound great and are pretty quiet but still flow 1100 cfm. A local buddy runs them on his car. With the spray on he makes over 800 rwhp and it still sounds pretty tame.

Just a thought.

Where did you get the valve covers.
Very serious power, completely badass setup. Shows what a well thought out setup can do.

They were custom. PM me if you'd like the number. They were modified slightly to clear the rockers. They arent as expensive as others that are made.

v6bird - i noticed you're running a quick fuel carb on there, im building a small cube lsx based engine, dart heads, big hydraulic cam and a vic jr intake. - could you shed some light on the model carb you're using.

and another question i have for you - i purchased the msd 6010 box - do i need that extension harness that is sold seperatley?

thanks,
killer setup by the way - definitley gives me some push to get my junk finished.

I know its a 850 pro form center section. Whatever QFT did to the carb im sure has been changed by Ray. Hes one of the best carb tuners in the country. He used to get flown out to test sessions for Nascar when he worked at Reher-Morrison. I know the carb has been revamped but I dont know the exacts of what hes done.

For the 6010 box yes we opted for the harness. BUt i will tell you know even at 16 volts the ignition is still breaking up over 7000RPMS. MSD is sending us a complete refund for the MSD coil packs, the box and extra harness. It will pay for the distributor setup we want to use on it. Ray is not happy with MSD stuff nor will he ever use it again. He's a mallory fan. He talked to the engineer for the box and the one for the coils. Would you beleive they told him they didnt KNOW if those things would ever work together!!!

Back from the dead, lol.

Hey Buddy, great job. I missed this thread before and someone linked in my Dart 225 thread. Any updates, like some numbers on the spray? or any ETs. Mike you wouldn't happen to have stock out of the box flow numbers would you? I will be running a set with a Vic Jr and DP Dry on my 408 and don't have the cash to do any porting, so was wondering how they work out of the box. Any insight would be great. What's up, we never see you in the N2O section any more?
Robert
