At this point the 240cc head may be a 4.125" bore head, as we have been unable to improve upon the 225cc head on a 4.00" bore.

The 240cc 4.125" bore head has been on and off the flowbench several times over the last two days, we are going to digitize it as soon as the .400" number hits 290 cfm, right now it is at 286 cfm, it is 236 cfm at .300" and around 330 cfm @ .500", which is good, all with a mear 2.08" valve, as opposed to a 2.16"-2.20" like the LS7/L92 stuff. That much flow with that small of a valve will translate into a head that is easier to cam and to make power with than what the LS7/L92 stuff has been.

The TFS-30600415 upgrade springs check at 160/440 lbs, and is the best spring we have seen for an LS head, and is what all TFS heads ship with.
Since when have they used the upgraded sprigns? I wonder if I got the golds or the upgrade springs when I got my TFS heads from ECS around x-mas holidays.

Its a pretty recent thign within the last couple weeks. I talked to Arty about the sprigns and the stuff we run and what weve test with and he said they have a meeting about it a few days later, guess they decided it would be a good idea to put a better spring on them all, good call, less hassletation!

ALL TFS heads that have shipped since October 31st have had the upgraded springs at no additional cost, so yes, yours have the best springs.
