Default Dynoing in different gears

Just curios what gear is a m6 supposed to be dynoed in? Isnt it 4th? Also how would it being dynoed in 3rd affect the readout?
Thanks

More power in a 4th gear pull than a 3rd pull? How much?

4th gear in an LS1 T56 is the 1:1 ratio, from my understanding, so 4th gear is the gear it is supposed to be dynoed in. Other gears will probably read too low. My brother and friend both know a lot about this, so one of them will probably post up when they see it and explain it better, but I do know that 4th gear is definitely the correct gear. Hope this helps a bit.

As previously stated, 4th is the correct gear for a LS1 M6 car since
it's a 1:1 relationship...3rd for a 4L60E car.

From what i understand sometimes you dyno in a lower gear to keep the wheel speed down. The dyno should compensate for it. I also dynoed in 3rd and 4th and made more power in 4th. This was on a dyno jet
