Dyno Results - LE2 Heads, LE1HL cam, dynotune @ Ed Wright
Well, I'm back from my dyno tune adventure in Tulsa.
I picked up almost 15RWHP, which is good for a dyno tune (VS the custom one we did on the street)
That TQ curve still looks funny IMHO.
380RWHP @6250
340RWTQ @4800
93 Firehawk, A4, stock bottom end.
LE2 heads, LE1HL cam, Dyno Tune
JetHot LTs, ORY, 3" Hooker Catback, 3200 Stall
(Results with cutout motor broken, cutout was stuck open about 1/8 )
based on previous tests (this car, this setup), that cost me about about +4rwhp +9rwtq.

Before and after heads/cam/stall/LT (Photoshopped together)

I'll get it to the track next weekend, we'll see how she does.

It was probably Not locked due to the high pull needed, this is my one off Bret Bauer cam (emission legal/passable), not as wild as even a CC306, compared to my LT4 hotcam, The hotcam pull was before I locked the converter so never got a low pull through my 4L60e with a 2800 stall.
Looking at the custom cam, it needed a stall around 3000-3500, lookin at this kid's pull, mine makes a similar downward trend in the same rpm range.
Oh when you lock a converter, you can get a pull like mine

He pulled from 4600-6800, I'm guessing unlocked.
All of my dyno sheets seem to look that way with this converter in there.
I guess I'll know if it's slipping excessively when I get to the track.

but if I gunned it from a roll (or stand still) and spun the tires it would bounce off the limiter a few times before it shifted into 2nd.
I'll try it again if it ever stops raining around here LOL

UPDATE
My best run was 12.37 @ 110mph with a 1.71 60ft
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...imeslip002.jpg
Skinnies got in and took it to 12.26 @ 111MPH with a 1.70 60ft (to be fair, he's got about 140lbs weight advantage)
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e1...imeslip001.jpg
She was hooking awesome, I later found that my rear shocks were set to 4 instead of 8.
I may have been able to squeeze a little bit more out of it.
I'll know better next time.
The torque converter is acting funny, which doesn't surprise me since I bought it used from someone I didn't know.
Next up, new TC and an oil catch can (Inside of manifold is coated in oil)

It's slipping at least 10% at the top of third.
I'm going with a Yank SS 3600, which is what I should have done in the first place.
