Default How about a rough guess for me and the Vindicator Cam

After doing some research etc., I'm liking what I am seeing from this cam. Currently I make right around 400/380 with a TR 224 (XE lobes, not XER) and some slightly milled (10.5:1 CR) JRP Stage II 241's (1.6's, 2.02's). I'm assuming I'll have to flycut, but thats really a non issue. Any guesses on what kind of numbers the car would make with a cam swap with the vindicator cam from my TR 224 (keeping in mind I have a Stage II 4L60E with an SSF 3500). I'm wondering if its worth it or not, let me know your thoughts if you could, thanks guys.

Have you still got the stock 10 bolt? Forgive me. I didn't see that info anywhere. If you get Vengeance to do the work and are on the stock 10 bolt, I'd think you'd put down numbers close to what I did. Ron and Mike said the TFK heads I got from them are pretty good but you've got ported heads as well. So, 450+ RWHP shouldn't be a problem at all even with an A4.

Just dont forget about driveability now "trust", bc that Whopper Stick will be a totally different world than that lil thing your running right now . Just an FYI, but if you want that thing to pull like a raped ape up top then i say ya go for it, but if your wanting a good down low out of the hole cam then maybe look at something else.. Just my .02

Since it was mentioned I'll second it. This is a top end biased cam. My PT4000 with a 5900 RPM shift extension isn't even quite enough to squeeze the maximum performance out of this cam. I'm switching to 4.30 gears just to try to take better advantage of the power curve it generates. You're gonna make some decent power with this cam and your current heads/etc but it may just be too high up there in the RPM range to see the full benefit of it unless you go to more of a race setup. Or if you like to do highway pulls from high speeds. I love this cam for my application but I don't drive around. Just letting you know the only potential downside to this cam.

I say 430whp at best. You will lose torque in the lower rpms with nothing else changed compared to the setup you have now.
