lol @ sorta. My car drives like stock just more powerful, I can shift at under 2k in all gears with no issues at all. Most cam only setups you will not shift at 2k without some nice bucking and surging.

Well I dont quite have the tune it needs yet hence the surging at low rpm. But 3k rpm and north is like a drug...you just cant get enough

with a 393, 90/90, stage II ls6 heads, M6, ls7 clutch, safe tune ~510 rwhp. Since then the heads have been changed. I now have AS stage 2.5 5.3 heads and upped SRC from 11:1 to 12.5:1, went to an aluminum flywheel, yella terra, and switched from 1 3/4 hookers to 1 7/8 kooks. I expect to be north of 550rwhp when tuned. I LOVE this cam. I just needs a good tune. At 3000rpm V-tech kicks in Turns from docile to an animal

LOl @ vtec yeah the trex on a 393 isnt nearly as radical as it is on a 346. nice numbers.

The trex or MS4 would probably be my cam of choice on a 402 or something of similiar displacement.

I believe it...the thread said 453 after SAE correction. He's got better heads, a bigger cam, and probably better tuning than me (I tune myself) so I can see a 25 RWHP gain.

Nope. I'm not sure who started this internet fallacy.....There is NO more loss due to drivetrain than a 10 bolt F-bod. In fact Id counter that they lose LESS through the drivetrain. Add that to the better exhaust system found in the vette and vettes dyno HIGHER than F-bods....

We just did a 2002 Camaro M6 with only the following mods. Lid, 1 3/4" Hooker Headers, Off road y-pipe, SLP loudmouth and the MS4 cam. It dynoed 422 rwhp STD cam only and 412 rwhp SAE. It dynoed 329 rwhp before the cam. The Z06's with boltons are around 370-390 RWHP.
