Default LS2 403 F1A with Track results

This is no shop car and no shop built this motor. I put it all together in my garage and tuned it myself. I was definitely shocked with the results.

864.23 rwhp and 743.69 rwtq.

I was hoping for mid to high 700s and when they told me the results I was like are you sure, did you read it wrong. Here are a few specs on my setup.

93 octane pump gas
9 inch rear
Textralia Exo-Skel clutch
13.5 lbs of boost
F1A Procharger
AFR 225 heads
Callies crank
Compstar rods
JE Pistons
23X/24X 113+X
Crane shaft mount rockers
Caddy racing hydraulic lifters
Tony Mamo ported 90mm FAST intake
1 7/8 Kooks headers
3 inch true duals over the axle
9:1 compression
Exotic Performance Plus front mount intercooler

I think that pretty much covers it. I will post the dyno graph when I get a chance. Before I get all kinds of people saying now take it to the track and see what it will do, I do plan on that but it will not be soon. Most likey the middle of June before I take it to the track.

I am in the right lane.

I built it more for the street than the track but I do have basically a full drag suspension setup. I have put my front sway bar on to be able to handle the power more on the street. My goal is to run a 9.99 with it. I ran a 10.81 @ 130 with it N/A.

Yeah if you can keep it on the track a 9.99 should be seriously easy to accomplish.

Uuuuuum....why do I bother with N/A?.....LOL

(Your going to convert me John....the darkside is calling!)

Crazy results....Congrats and it was obviously worth all the BS and effort to swap the car to a forced induction set-up.

Guys, he didnt even mention this is thru cats and with zero methanol injection which could probably nudge this combo closer to the 900 RWHP mark with a little more finessing of the tune.

Insane....The guy on the R1 motorcycle is still licking his wounds from the race with you

Post some in car video!!

See ya,
Tony

PS....Vipretr2....good quote....LOL (that goes back aways if I recall!)

Thanks everyone. Yeah I forgot to mention that I am running Magnaflow cats and NO methanol injection. It was fairly warm yesterday, at the start of the pull the IATs were 88 degrees and at the end of the pull my IATs were 99 degrees. Which I think is good but if it would of been cooler out and could of started with IATs in the 50 to 60 degree range, I am sure the numbers would of been higher. But all in all I am more than excited with my results.

Are you doing this through a FMIC? What sort of gas are you running?

Awsome results John!!! Makes me wonder if my new setup is going to be N/A. If I had your money then I might take on FI. This just shows that you can do things in your garage with the proper tools and knowledge with great results.

Congrats on the new found power. You kind of limit your self in trying to find competetion with that power level......a problem I would like to have for sure.
