Default TSP 427 Tuned by Nick Williams

Don't have a sheet to put on here just yet but as of last night we got it on the dyno and went from 534/487 with a MAF tune to an SD tune and got it to 560rwhp and 515 rwtq. There is still alittle tuning in the lower rpm range to play with but for the most part these numbers should hold. This was thru an M6 and 4:10 gears. I am very happy with those numbers for being NA. As soon as I get a sheet I will get it posted up for you guys to take a look at it.

Awesome numbers....

So your saying that just by getting rid of the MAF and tuning it in SD mode you gained a bunch of power? Did Nick tune it both times?

It has been proven many times that a SD Tune doesn't make any "big" gains over a MAF Tune.

Anyways, enjoy the new power and tell your tires Good Luck! lol

DAMN....nice numbers. I didn't know a SD tune would net such big gains.

The MAF tune was a little soft im sure. Unless the MAF was that big of a restriction.

It was a stock 98 MAf sensor with the stock bellow, so I am sure getting rid of that set up netted some of that number.

Yeah the maf in itself wont lose power, its the 75mm restriction and bellows that do.

well im curious about something in your sig it says TSP LS7 if its a ls7 why isnt it making more power arent the new Z06's making more with just exhaust and a cam.

i mean the power is awesome i would love to have that kinda power but i would think being a 427 that it would make closer to 600 if not over 600 am i wrong just curious. just tring to understand and learn

he's got l92 heads not ls7 and not running true dual exhaust. not to mention there is a drivetrain difference between the two.

WOW! That makes some sense. I just assumed it had a 90mm MAF from the get go. A 90mm MAF should be good for up to 600RWHP.

Great Numbers!
