Default ms4 dyno numbers

well i managed to get 354 hp and 326 tq on motor and 457hp and 415 tq on nitrous 125 pills. i have lt's and duals lid, ls1 intake, stock 853 heads, and 3200 stall. runs were unlocked converter, i was kinda disappointed but i guess i need ls6 intake or better and some heads to take full advatage of this cam.

The Ls1 intake in shocking the engine very badly the Ls6 intake should be your next mod.

You can be close to 380rwhp with the ls6 intake and looked converter.

Good luck.

say what?

An intake would be very beneficial. It should get you to 370 or so.

port your throttle body, and wouldnt a ls6 intake help him acheive more than 370-380rwhp?? i figured with a cam of that size a ls1 intake would be choking the motor quite a bit.

At least he tried to contribute, unlike you? This isnt grammertech.com

OP, get an ls6 intake, ported TB and retune from there and the car will pick up quite a bit from 4,500-5k on up (where the cam really comes alive). No need to be disappointed with the numbers you got through: a built a4, unlocked 3200 verter and ls1 intake.

They're just givin you a hard time. It's nice to see that not every thread turns into a flame fest.

and on topic: I wouldn't even b other dynoing it locked, you race with it unlocked. And dyno numbers for A4s are almost irrelevant, especially with a converter. My A4 dynod 271/277 with an open cut-out, but it runs hard and I've beaten I lot of serious cars. Dyno number are nice to have, but if they're low don't fret. Take it to a track.
