I was just curious because I am planning on buying a set of TFS heads for my setup which is very similiar to yours - just mine is an auto and my cam is a .588/.588 - 228 - 114. I have the LS6 intake and a 80mm TB.

So I am hoping to see around 430-440rwhp out of this thing with those heads. I will also add some 1.7 rockers at that time.

Thanks for the reply.

Just a quick update. The parts fairy arrived a week ago and the old POS has got some new goodies. We'll see if some extra air along with the Harland Sharps is what this combo needs to shine. Should be on the dyno again in August.

Hopefully all this helps.

where are you comming up with 7 degrees ? at what .050 ? hell thats not all the overlap in that camshaft.

but hey since a few guys here know everything about camshafts why argue ?
didn't want to read through all the retarded posts in here, but I have the F13 in my car on a 346 and made 480/437 through a 9" with 4.30's, and the dyno I went to was not one to put out "big numbers".

I hate to hear this cam has too much overlap, that must be why my power is so low...

Oh, you been bad. Now, is that a ported FAST? Is that airbridge aftermarket?

The FAST is ported. I spent about 5 hours with a Dremel and sandpaper getting it there. The airbridge is a stock '01. I haven't convinced myself that the "power ducts" are worth it.

Here's a pic of the untouched ports (the vendor that installed this for the previous owner decided RTV was the way to go to seal the intake, moron)

And here is the finished product.

Pay close attention to the left side of the ports and you can see the flash I had to remove and smooth. I made a template of the ports on the heads to open up the intake ports more, but the FAST was mere millimeters smaller. So I decided to leave it.
