Does this small head big cam setup have better street manners than the previous small cam big head set up?

Almost as good. Granted, the old cam only had 6 degrees of overlap at .050" where my new cam has 16 degrees. But the higher airspeed of the 205s and the higher compression offset the driveability hit quite a bit and the street manners are only slightly worse...not enough to get bent about. My speed-density tune is REALLY good.

Have to agree here....

I was very curious to see what the other combo did for him at the track. Hopefully this combo will give us some 1/4 mile times, before this boosted concept of his begins falling into play....

Who said I was on stock suspension? I've got high dollar wheels, shocks, bars and brakes...just what someone needs to do competitive track road racing or open road racing. My car is set up more to handle than to bite. I may get to the 1/4 track this summer, but the standing mile is more fun for me and more of what I build my car for.

Its refreshing to finally see a REAL 500rwhp 346ci car, instead of a number fudged dyno sheet like we normally see on this site. Patrick, you never fail to amaze everyone. Congrats man, I am always eager to learn something new.

FM 236 (Upper Mission Valley Road) near the Schroeder cutoff. 98Aggie on this board is Kurt Decker. Send me a PM if you'd like his contact info. The only chassis dyno for nearly 100 miles.

I hope you aren't talking about who I think you are talking about 'cause I'm about damn tired of hearing people smite other people's hard earned R&D and work.

Congrats Pat, killer setup....now you need some GO-GO JUICE!
