Default ETP 215 results

Took the car to Vector for dynotuning. Kirk pretty much had the rwhp down on the first pull. It made 457 and 387 at the wheels. Looking for more torque on the second pull it made 460/400. The final pull which I will post tomorrow was 457/404.
I was kinda hoping for a little more torque but I guess I should have listened to Patrick G and got my cam on a 110lsa instead of a 114. Maybe some LG Longtubes would have had an edge over the Kooks in torque department also.
Kirk uses a Mustang dyno also so I guess the results are decent. The car went 12.04@115 with headers and dr's/no tune so I'm hoping for 11.3-11.4 in the low 120's.

ETP 215's 60cc .40 Cometic
223/234 .636/.598 114lsa
Fast 90/NW90 NOT Ported
Kooks 1 3/4" No cats
Halltech Trap CAI

That much HP on a Mustang Dyno should net you low 11's at 120mph.

nice numbers! my motor made 463/414 on that same dyno tuned by Kirk. In a full weight WS6 driven by "mike c." the car ran 11.1@125.7.

Good results on that dyno. Curious why you didn't port the fast ??? Its costly enough to get one unless you get a deal, so why not pay to have it ported as well to MAX out your potential to make power. Anyways you got a very strong motor considering you made those numbers on Kirk's Dyno. I heard the dyno is nicknamed the "humbler" LOL....

I hear ya Doug. I bought this intake about 2 yrs ago new from a forum member and got a good deal on it. At the time, I really wasn't hearing too much about ported Fast's so I didn't bother.
I guess the dyno numbers are encouraging but I'll see what it runs at the track. After all, that's what counts.
The car did good for having a mild cam by today's standards.

Maybe porting your intake will be the last mod you do. Could be worth the time and money. Check with Tony Mamo, Ron at Vengeance, and Louis at LG Motorsports. All 3 are reputable.

wonder what it puts down on a dynojet, nice numbers for a mustang dyno, that cam is slightly small too IMO.

You need some rod bolts and lifters so that you can take it higher.

I have heard a few good things about Kirk at Vector, but the nightmares I have heard make me want to stay as far away as possible. Don't want to forget the way he treated me when I wanted him to do a tune on my car. I spoke to him one time, and could never get him on the phone again, left messages and he never called back.

I do have Lunati lifters which I understand are made by Morel. I don't have rod bolts though, and I was about out of injector.
