why do you guys think I disagree with you?
I don't.

I am just rebutting the blanket statement made your not going to get any sort of mileage or reliablility out of a car say running 8psi of boost which was your example.

That's insane man. Honestly, you need to get a video up so you can prove to any doubters your final time with this engine. I bet it's a record. 10.15 on stock shorty might even be a record for all I know.

Don't know what Call911's problem is. Wrote a damn book about **** everyone on here already knows and no one disputes. Just keeps beating that dead horse. Must be jealous or something.

This car is a real credit to the LS1. When it dies in the line of duty, it will be a hero.

I need to quit reading these threads.... I am contemplating the APS TT setup on a stock bottom end and I know the risk. Hell, I even know it is likely certain death for the stock LS1 at some point. Even if it lives with 5-7 lbs. of boost, I will likely get greedy at some point.....

Face it, this is an addiction and we all have it. I cannot rationalize WHY I want to spend thousands of dollars to put my engine in harm's way, it's just that I have just ALWAYS wanted a FI engine, so here we go.....

LOL...............just don't get too greedy when running the stock block..........you'll be fine with 8-9 psi as long as the tuning strategy is conservative.

Well, all I can say is, this is my first car modding and first experience tuning. So when it comes to knowing what I'm doing, I'm all but clueless. The sig speaks for itself. My setup is only a year old, but I can say I fully expect bad things to happen, so I have already purchased a forged short block. But I gotta say it's a kick in the a$$ driving it. Oh yea, I'm still using the stock 10 bolt thats so weak even stock cars brake them. begginers luck

Badass car, good luck on it! Add a little bit more boost and let us know when it pops. Go for 800 on stock shortblock! haha

blow the shortblock and have fun doing it if you have the cash. Once its forged you can take it all the way up to 850 rwhp with the right combo.

Thats what was hoping for, corrected of coarse. I don't think it would go 800 uncorrected. We have a 20% correction up here, so it would be about 670 actuall hp. I'm only a few pounds away.

Is the OP still driving the car? I am considering buying the Gen TTR kit for my goat. I am putting good numbers down NA 480rwhp and 460tq and more with nitrous. I just am addicted to the juice and want the power it gives all the time. I already have an upgrade fuel system and want to get between 625-650rwhp. I know the motor will be on borrowed time and I will start saving for Forged 402 or 408 so I can up the boost down the line.
