Those are insane numbers for a Auto with a LS1 Intake. Hell even if you had a LS6 Intake those numbers are still very impressive. Please post the cam Specs.

Any plans for track time? Sounds completely sick man. I too couldn't find those specs at Vengence. He has some great cam choices, that's for sure.

I spoke with Ron & he explained to me that the vindicator II cam is cut on a 113 Duration for better Piston to Valve Clearance & better HP up top. But you loose it below the Curve down low. So it sounds like a trade off. But its a good cam for those who don't want to Fly cut their pistons

The original was a 240/244 on a 112 I think. I don't remember the advance - if any - that was ground in.

how much different is it from the vindicator #1? so if i go with this cam i would not have to fly cut my pistons correct? and if you lose power down low-- how muchexactly compared to the Vindicator #1 cam? trying to weigh out my odds...somebody post a graph of both please so i have some idea of the difference...

Do you have any dyno numbers before you put the cam in the car? Do you have any other supporting bolt-ons? A pulley, ported throttle body, roller rockers or cutout?

Too bad you have to rev to the moon to make power...like the rest of the bigger cams (I drive an MS3, so I know exactly what I am talking about lol)

Very nice numbers indeed!......But it'll get old.....

I don't consider 6500 rpm on the 1-2 shift & 7000RPM on the 2-3 shift reving to the moon its not much higer then stock. I believe redline on our motors stock is 6000 rpm & with a good set of Valve springs. 7000 rpm shift should not be a big deal on the 2-3 shift

I agree with ya on that one bro. I love the sound above 6000 rpms. I shift way early unless I am running late or racing.

MxWickedZ28, any plans on getting one of Ron's ported 90 mm FAST intakes and T/b combos?? You could pickup some serious rwhp, something to think about.

Any links to pics of your car. I am thinking about getting a FRC or Z06 here in the very near future?

I am waiting for LGM to post the most recent pics taken with the chrome c5 zo6 wheels they put on the car. You can see old pics of it on their website now in the customers section. ( old pics before rear brake ducts and above mentioned wheels ) old wheels were factory chrome 5 spoke.

First off, why only 6500 on the 1-2 (not hitting peak with that shift point, ESPECIALLY with that sized duration on a 346)??

Secondly, unless this car is going to be on the track weekend after weekend...how often are you going to take it up to 6800rpm+ on the streets? (this is an AGE OLD arguement many have had here)

Take it from the guys with big cam experience, they make SICK power no doubt, but 1/2 of it is USELESS unless on the track or some road racing where you keep the motor in the power band most of the time...

I would drive a 228/232 (or something along those lines) and enjoy a beefy power band all the from 2000+ rpm, then a BIG cam (which I am running now) which BLOWS below 3500 but HAULS @ 5500-7200...

Think about it..

Like I said though, to each his own, VERY nice numbers especially through a stalled auto!! Congrats!

Erik that makes perfect sense. Now I see where you are coming from & I agree 100% with you. On a daily, Yes the Vindicator Cam is probably to big
