Default RPM-5 cam 238 244 .605 .612 114+4

I wanted to get some of your opinions on these numbers.

mods- JET HOT headers
TSP 3" ORY
spec 3+ W/aluminum flywheel
FIPK
everything else is stock for now.... didnt spray today and PREVIOUS numbers are 328.1hp 331.3tq on a 100 nx single nozzle wet shot she did 409.1hp 449.2tq---- it was about 95 deg at the time no fan infront of the car during pulls

That cam is really begging for a nice set of heads. Nice torque curve though. Looks like Charlie got his new dyno.

I like those numbers with the nx tune im going to say over 500 rwhp and at least 550 tq

I would be a bit disappointed but taht is just me. I have seen alot of Cam only numbers put up more. But then again. Do you have a LS6 Intake.

no i just have whats listed above graph thats why i wasnt too disapointed im gonna get a typhoon or ls6 intake and see what that does. thanks for the input..

damn get an ls6 intake!!!!! i made 395/366 with a 232/234 through cats.. and ur cam is much larger then mine! u have more potential

my tuner said my car was pulling alot of timing due to knock i dont know how much that played a role in the numbers but

If your getting a lot of KR on gas I'd think twice before I hit the switch on the N2O.

i hear ya WKMCD that was our thoughts too thats why we decided to put the motor tune on her until i figure out whats going on.

RPM in Lewisville,Tx? If thats the case, try another tuner that knows WTF they are doing. No fan in front of the car?!?! MORONS.

BTW. I made 409/440 with this, cam only through an auto

Get you the Ls6 and all the bolt ons.

Did you flycut the pistons ? If not you might wanna check piston to valve clearnace. I have seen similarly sized camshaft similar durations and lift in 4 later that have kissed with heads milled 0.030 . That could be your knock retard. Is your valvetrain noisy????.

didnt flycut. my valvetrain is kinda noisy but i dont think its any louder than any other ls1.

thanks badcompany & ls1 courious for the reply's. im on the road to doing all bolt ons and the intake then ill let the nitrous do the rest
