A built auto will ALWAYS drain more hp on the dyno over a stock auto. Get it to the track, I bet you wont be dissapointed.
A friend of mine got all bent out of shape because he had headers, ls6 intake, ory,cat back, built auto and a stall and only made 328 rwhp. He was going consistant 12.30's at 112 though.

I agree 7 might seem low, but like others have said, there's so much more to it than peak numbers. I gained 15 rwhp when adding headers, catback. This was dynoed before and after the same day. But I gained over 30 ftlbs tq. Overall, it was huge improvement.

I agree with the other guys in this case. I gained 11rwhp from pacesettter LT and y-pipe on the dyno unlocked, but I picked up 4 mph & 3 tenths in the quarter mile in my 02z auto camaro. That was unlocked which is the only numbers that I pay attention to.

if it wasn't done on the same dyno, then the numbers mean nothing.

ha i would love to say oh yea its only 320 hp or so then get in and run low 12's...

op dyno is a tuning tool dont worry about the numbers, you said it feels like it has alot more power... i'm sure it performs... luckily i've been reading thru the site alot and having a A4 i won't worry to much when i finally dyno my car... sure it'll dyno low... but it'll move out.

#'s are low. Without locking the converter, you will not get a true reading on the dyno.

No because most dyno numbers are SAE corrected. Weather wouldnt matter. If his numbers are uncorrected then yes weather would matter.

Thats nothing! I dynoed 328/337 with lid/cutout.

I added Ported TB, ARH longtube, ypipe(no cats), ls6 intake and a full tune. Look at the sig!

Two different dynos.

Dynoed again and only did 320/320 up here with the same mods. Who knows what dynos are accurate

Ive only seen 4-5 cars dyno before and after on just headers/Ypipe(including mine) and all went 1 point richer or so. Mine was tuned almost dead on 13:1 and swapped to my headers/Ypipe and it was almost dead on 12:1, heres the pulls:

I dynoed 306 on a dyno jet, then after the cam and new tune I put down 306 on a Mustang dyno, so who knows.
