Default MS3, 215 ETP, 90/90 inside!!!

Well I had my car dyno tuned about a month ago. Here are the results. I'm going to change my springs out because I don't think the PSI springs that came with the heads can keep up. Most MS3 dyno sheets I have seen pull to 6500+ mine stopped making power at 6200. Also I plan on milling the heads down from 62cc to 60cc and go from .045 to .040 headgasket to pick up some more hp & tq. But I have to get some more tunning worked out first. Let me know what you think. Mod list is in my sig

numbers look good. Jason and the guys at TSP are awesome! Milling the heads will net you a little bit of power. Your right on the springs as the MS3 usually pulls to 6500. Is the 90/90 setup ported?? if not that will net you some extra ponies to. All in all it sounds like you have a very strong runner and the springs, milling and porthing the intake should get you some pretty strong numbers. Have fun with it and get some e.ts.

My MS3 spins to 7K RPM. I ended up making 470 RWHP/415 RWTQ with similar mods except that my heads are AFR 205s. Nice numbers, I love my Magic Stick

The fast intake isn't ported. That something else that will be corrected after my house is done being built. Heads are 215cc intake runners and the combustion chamber is 62cc.

What springs are you running on your AFR's? Did you upgrade your rod bolts?

Pretty stout numbers. The head milling to get compression up should solve your low torque numbers. Good luck. Would like to see you around 430 rwtq. You'll get there with milling and the thinner gaskets.

Great numbers man. Congrats!! Looks just like my setup in the works.

-ETP 215 60cc with upgraded valve spring drag kit .700 lift
-Cometic .040 gasket
-FLP longtube headers
-Lane's true dual exhaust
-Ported FAST 90/90 (pending)
-Camshaft options: MS3 (current), Hellion 243/247 .629 .629 112 (NIB), or custom grind 235/236 .646/.602 110+2 (pending); I will more than likely go with the latter cam for drivability and still make killer power
-4000 stall
-3:73s

I also have all the bolt ons. So I hope to make similar power. I have a few more parts to purchase.

Sounds like a nice set up. Keep us posted on the results. What kind of seat psi do those drag springs have?

Rather than the springs, have you considered the pushrods? The ETP heads have a long pushrod that will flex a lot more. I would upgrade to 3/8" pushrods first, if that doesn't solve your upper RPM issue than upgrade the valve springs.

Nice numbers, I too thought milling the heads might cause PTV with the MS3
