Now,all cars are different.I really hate 98's and never seen one hit over 390rwhp Cam only on our dyno -never!! This is even with the big,bad *** cams.So thats just us.
It's obvious the heads are no good. The home porting probly killed them.

I have offered luke a set of 241's but he says he's gonna wait now until he can afford a new set of 5.3 heads from tsp and a standard split cam maybe a ms3. I just finished a car today with a 228r and tsp 5.3 stage 2.5's luke seemed pretty impressed as he gave me a hand with the car.
And also slowhawk there are no good tuners around here thats why I started tuning myself from what I've learned just from my own cars. I do alright business so far I'm looking forward to expanding in the future. But as with everything everyday you learn a little more.

I'm only 10rwhp behind you and 6rwtq more than you.
I only have just boltons (not even all of them). I'd look into other issues not just the heads. There not as bad as people think.
Good luck!

I've learned you really can't compare dyno numbers....our mustang dyno at school is the lowest reading dyno i've ever seen. On a 402 Z28 our dyno read 380 LOL, on someone elses it put down 460, on a ported blower 03 cobra ours = 390, someone elses was 480rwhp or something, in a friends H/C/I 5.0, our dyno read 237, somewhere else was like 290...
Just find someone with a similar set-up and race. I don't give a **** what my car puts down, as long as i'm ahead of cars with similar set-ups.

You badmouth a cam that repeatedly makes in the range of 400RWHP yet you can do better without it? Hardly.

I agree with Mr.MartyStone, the TR230 is a piece of crap. I only ran a best et of 11.2 and best mph of 123.5 on stock 241 heads @3500lbs with that cam. I hated it so much I put it in my stock LS6 motor to try for 10s. Also, f*3k a dyno, I made 413rwhp running those times. Dynos are great for tuning and gauging your own advancement, but racing dyno numbers is futile. Take it to the track.
