Tuning a Vette is much more complex in my opinion. I guess LG motorsports is really inexperienced in tuning as well since Allngn's car has issues as well. I will send you my bin, if you can fix it for me and point out what I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate it.
Dont feel bad. Thats the hardest part to get worked out. And BTW, you dont have to drill the t-body.
FWIW I've seen alot of tunes from other tuners, "pro tuners" at that, even the big name shops, that leave alot to be desired. Theres alot of **** to be done to make an ETC car with a cam drive right. So, dont feel bad if its kickin your ***.

Thanks edcmat. All the cars I send out of my "shop" to get tuned by professionals if I don't feel like doing it do the same thing as described above. So the guy comes back to me and I work it out no matter how many tries it takes. I have alot to learn still about tuning and am the first one to admit that. The problem is that no one seems to know how to fix the off throttle problem. I have it close but not perfected in all situations under all conditions.

Vett. I think you do have good numbers. I just ordered the same exact heads and was hoping to hit 500rw with my new larger cam since I was so close with the smaller cam and AFR heads. That is all my comment was about. I do a ton of business with TSP and put thier products on all the cars I do. My cam showed up today and the heads should be here in a day or two. So hopefully I will have some numbers soon to compare to yours. I am sorry if I hijacked this thread in any way. That was not my intention.

No need to apologize for hijacking, all the info that is posted is more than welcome. Let me know what your numbers end up at. I would like to know. And, I also call bs on alot of posted #'s on this site. I think some shops inflate #'s to keep the customers happy. I don't in any way feel that mine were inflated.

Pray, you are completely right. I totally forgot about it being a DBW car, and that definitely does make a difference on tip in, and off-throttle tuning.

Sorry bud.

Nice numbers. That Vette must move. Let us know how the tuning / idle issue goes on Thursday.

I have the same heads unmilled with smaller valves (ls6 stg 1), stock rockers, LG streets headers, a tad smaller cam (237/242) and no flycutting and Im making a tad more rwhp (475) on my 02.

I've been entertaining the Idea of going AFR 225s or Trickflow 215s, but I don't know if 10rwhp is worth the extra $2k (1200 + 600 install and $125 retune).

And also on avg, a handfull of h/c/i vettes wether it be AFRs, PRC LS6 or TFS's have all been averaging around 460 - 480rwhp with a healthy cam and FAST 90/90.
There are a few that have done 490rwhp+ with AFR and TFS.

I will give up this little tidbit. Its not in the throttle follower/cracker. If ya have to use too much of those, the rest of the **** aint right.

I'll try to post a graph tomorrow. You'll probably have a field day with it.

Hey Vette-red, were your combustion chambers CNC'd or were they as cast? I just got my 2.5's and the Combustion chamber is as cast. They didn't touch the chambers at all. I called and they said that is the way they come to keep compression up. Let me know if you would. I should have the car up and running by Saturday. I am going to do some street tuning and get to a dyno. Thanks.
