Default Dyno Results

I recently had my 9inch installed w/ 370 gears, spool, 35 spline axles. I also added adj lower control arms, sub frame connectors, adjustable torque arm, wolfe sway bar, adj panard bar. Before the mods the car dynoed at 421hp 390tq. Dyoned after the install 398hp 380tq! is that normal for that big of a loss? i was wondering should i change my ls6 intake to a fast intake and NW throttle bottle. Let me know what you think. BTW the car is a 2000 camaro ss 6 spd

Yes it is.... My 12 bolt ate up 24hp and 20tq.... I have 3.73 gears and 35 spline axles as well.... But I will take that loss for peace of mind when I go to the track and launch the hell out of my car and dont worry about the rear end.

If you change the ls6 intake to the FAST, you should see a pretty good gain....

thanks, i was feeling a lil down! how much hp/tq should i see with the fast intake and nw throttle body?

Typical loss for a 9 inch swap and gear change...Is this a H/C setup?..

Depends on if its ported or not...If its ported look around a 20HP gain and a little less for TQ...There are a lot of threads about FAST gains...

Now you see why so many high dyno cars are 10 bolts and/or 3.42 geared. That does hurt quite a bit though. I guess you need to go to the track and launch it for real and see what numbers light up. That's what's most important.

im nervous, don't know what to expect. with the 10 bolt my best time was 12.4 @ 118, will that get better?
